I started this project thinking about a fun way for people to interact with others in a themed interactive park. After some thought about different fun ways to interact with people, I decided on a quest to find a criminal out of the crowds. A bounty hunting interactive story seemed perfect because of the way you must ask questions to solve the mystery. For this interactive adventure, in the park, you would start in the cargo hold. The bounty master will give you a bounty tracker and you must use it to find your target. This will be a cell phone with software that tracks other people playing. You must find the person hiding on the ship and take them in. The use of a cell phone for the tracker makes it easy for people to be familiar with how it works. Once you get the tracker, you must obtain an unrestricted tracking chip from the tech lab to put in your tracker which grants you access to the whole ship. When the chip is found, you can then start to look for your target. The first target in my story is in the mess hall. You must ask the people who are eating about their day and see if they seem nervous. You can also collaborate with other bounty hunters to share information to find your target in the crowded room. If you do find your target in the mess hall, you take them to the brig and move on to a second target who is a little harder to find. That is the second task. You make you way to where the tracker tells you and after looking around and asking for clues, you find out that there is a thief stealing weapons from the armory. When you make it there, you find your target in the same fashion by interrogating people and gathering information. Once the player has the target, they take them to the brig. You finally pass through the control room where the captain is, and he gives you your reward. After this, you will be inducted into the bounty guild where a ceremony takes place and you get a badge with an RFID that makes park staff treat you differently. These badges also get you access to exclusive guild eateries and a common area. We want people to WANT to achieve this, and giving them an incentive and reward makes the payoff much better. This adventure can be tailored to have many different iterations and different challenges. The possibilities of what a theme park could do with this are endless and I think it would be really fun to be able to hunt people in an enclosed area, where you aren’t sure who is a normal person and who is a criminal, and after, be a part of an elite group around the park who are revered and given special privileges.
